2009 HIT-A-THON
This will be the main fundraiser for our successful 2009 season!
Many other little leagues have already moved away from candy fundraisers with great success so we have decided to follow their lead.
100% of all the money collected will go directly to the operating costs of the league.
All pledges and donations to NKCLL are 100% tax deductible.
WHAT: A Hit-A-Thon Fundraiser
WHEN: Saturday, April 11, 2009 (at Jamboree)
WHERE: Hamilin Park Main Field
WHO: All NKCLL players (There is a buyout option.)
2009 Hit A Thon Pledge form
HOW IT WORKS:
1) Collect Pledges: From March 1 through April 11, players will collect pledges and donations from friends and family. Each player should try to collect at least $40.
2) Hiting the Ball: On Saturday, April 11, at the Jamboree, players will hit 3 balls off a tee. The farthest hit counts.
3) Collect Money: From April 11 through May 1, players will report back to friends and family about their longest hit and collect their pledged money.
4) Turn in Money: On May 1, players will turn in all donations.
5) Prizes: There will be prizes for the most money collected. Click here to see the GREAT Prizes!!! (ones a Wii)
*Buy Out: Parents may choose to have their player(s) not participate in the Hit-A-Thon by paying a buy-out fee of $40. All funds will be collected by your Manager or Fundraising parent and submitted to NKCLL. A player who buys-out may still choose to compete for the great prizes by participating in the fundraiser. Buy out fee will be credited to those totals.
